Role Overview

Join our dynamic aerospace team as a Finance Intern and gain hands-on experience in the financial operations of a cutting-edge aerospace company. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our financial controller and gain exposure to various aspects of financial management within the aerospace industry.

Duties

The main tasks of your internship will be as follows:

  • Financial Controlling & Analysis
    • Participate in monthly closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Collaborate with project managers to provide financial support and assist in drafting financial follow-up reports for projects.
    • Calculate revenue recognition and capitalization in accordance with established accounting principles.
    • Support the finance team in various tasks related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

 

  • Financial Reporting
    • Perform reporting on timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    • Update and maintain financial dashboards to help management to take strategic decisions.
    • Create a new financial dashboard specific for the American entity and for the Manufacturing Team.
    • Support on updating financial documentation toward Belgian Administration.
    • Calculate grants to be received for several projects.

The team is international, and you will work in both English and French.

Must have

  • You are a Master’s student specializing in finance.
  • You have a strong capacity for analysis and synthesis, and you love figures and modeling with Excel.
  • You are rigorous and structured, but also a good team-mate.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • Available for 6 months minimum.
