Duties:
  • Translate engineering constraints into spacecraft's structure, mechanisms and/or dispenser concepts and assess their feasibility.
  • Perform concept trade-off, carry out overall design studies and validate the product through extensive testing.
  • Establish the design file of a product (configuration, drawings, stack-up analysis, material and treatments) and support the procurement process.
  • Definition of interface files and validation of the integration with suppliers' components and launcher.
Must have:
  • MSc or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.

Duties:
  • Be responsible for accomplishing tasks in our Laboratory Facilities and Clean Room.
  • Support the Engineering teams in the mechanical and electrical assembly, integration and testing of the company prototypes and products
  • Assembly and testing of electronics PCB and harnessing (e.g. soldering of components, connectors and wires)
  • Mechanical tools design and manufacturing for test Bench integration
  • Maintenance of the laboratory equipment including tracking, calibration and repair

Duties:
  • Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of complex products that use FPGAs.
  • Be part of the micro architecture team and design partition within FPGA.
  • Implement design blocks using Verilog / System Verilog.
  • Participate in all phases of FPGA integration flow.
  • Test, debug and validate FPGAs in the lab using Verilog test benches and higher-level tools in Python / C /etc.
Must have:
  • MSc or PhD degree in electrical engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience working with complex FPGA.
  • 3+ years of experience in Verilog / System Verilog and/or VHDL.

Aerospacelab is currently seeking talented individuals for our Internship or Diploma Thesis program. Aerospacelab engineering interns play a significant role in the design, development and testing of satellite hardware. You will obtain invaluable hands-on technical experience that you can’t learn in a classroom. Our engineering team will help you to roll up your sleeves and apply text book theory and lab experience to creating solutions for real aerospace challenges. You will gain practical experience by participating in actual space hardware development projects.

Must have:
  • Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc in (applied) mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science or geography.
